“Handy Mike” is Mike Rose of Dalton, Ohio

Mike Rose is the pro handyman at Rose Handyman Services.  He’s who you’ll talk to when you call for help, and he will perform any work you need.  Mike has 26+ years of experience in DIY projects and doing home repairs for home owners and real estate professional alike.

Mike was born and raised in Wooster and graduated from Wooster High School.  He lives in Dalton with his wife and their two children. 

Mike’s interest in home repairs arose in his teenage years when he began to take responsibility for repairs and improvements to his family’s home.  Family members and friends encouraged his interest and nicknamed him “Handy Mike.”  The moniker stuck with him and he’s still at it today. 

Mike is an avid fan of college and NFL football and is active in supporting all local sports teams in Wayne County.

I needed repairs for a property my wife and I are managing for a neighbor who has found herself in a nursing home. Mike promptly returned my call for help and came out the same day to look things over. Admittedly, I gave Mike wide discretion to repair the trim around the garage door. Mike’s solution was beautiful and well executed. I also asked Mike to look at a GFCI outlet that was failing. Mike attempted a repair but recognized it was beyond his ability. I credit Mike with knowing his limitations. He recommended an electrician to troubleshoot the issue. It is without reservation that we recommend Mike Rose- he was prompt, attentive and personable. Due to a back injury, I decided I needed help from a capable handyman to keep up with repairs and odd jobs around my house. We couldn’t be happier with the work Mike Rose and his son Ethan did. Multi-talented, in less than two hours they handled tasks such: installed a doorbell and dimmer switch, hanged two lanterns from the ceiling, scrubbed the bathtub, hauled numerous items from the basement to the curb . . . etc, etc. Mike is very friendly but he doesn’t dawdle, and he handled a list of tasks in an hour and a half that would have taken weeks of my spare time. We’ll definitely be repeat customers for this Jack of all trades
